Our Mission

Our goal is to support our students' achievements by collaborating closely with our classroom teachers and providing a wide variety of resources to enhance student learning in support of the Virginia Standards of Learning. Strong library programs also work to enrich the students' learning experience at the middle school level. Author Sue Corbett spends the day at Robious!

Brandon Yowell a graphic artist and writer with Nowhere Comics shared information with students at our March "Lunch in the Library" program. Mr. Yowell talked about the drawing, writing and publishing process.




Library Clubs & Special Programs Lunch In the Library


Once a month students participate in an activity that takes place in the library during all three lunches. Students will sign-up in advance and will need to bring a bag lunch. Last year's activities included a storyteller, Native American Bingo, Valentines for Veterans, author Mike Harris, Poetry Jam, and a Mother's Day craft.







Mother - Daughter Book Club





Calling all mothers and daughters! Do you enjoy reading books and discussing them together? Then this club is for you! We will discuss the featured book over lunch and share some yummy desserts! Be sure to pick up a flyer in the library.





Father - Son Book Club




Dad, want to share your enjoyment for reading with your son? Then please join us in reading our specially selected books for breakfast and great some male bonding time, we'll even provide coffee! Fliers are available in the library.






Upcoming Events





September 9th: Summer reading logs due to your Language Arts teacher. Please make sure you have completed 1 different activity for each book read and include both you and your parents signature.
